The BEST Oil-Free Hummus (Final)

Serves: 1¼- 1⅓ Cup
 
Ingredients
  • 1 can Chickpeas (15oz)*
  • 2 tbsp tahini (the brand we use) (OR 3 tbsp white sesame seeds)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice + more to taste
  • 1 ice cube
Instructions
  1. Drain chickpeas well and rinse under cold water.
  2. Add all ingredients except the ice cube into a high speed blender (you will need a powerful one for this). Blend till smooth, scrapping down in between.
  3. Add the ice cube in and blend patiently until it is full incorporated.
  4. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Notes
*I've tried using black beans in place of chickpeas and it still tastes great!
